At times I sit around thinking why we pray to God..and no answers come to my mind except my hands folding with a bowing head before him,The Almighty and my heart whisper “A Reason to Pray”.. π
We all have one reason or the other for anything we do in life and one such thing is Praying-there is always a reason for praying too,but that reason is never static and every other day we bow before God we have a different reason to pray,Humans we are–as the matter of fact we never are content with what we have but that is how we are…and that is the reason we pray, maybe human way to show Gratitude to God.
Well a Human Being I am.. ;),Even I do have reasons to pray,to bow myself before the almighty…Indeed a lot of for I am young with lots of dreams in my eyes to fulfill in coming years…And for that I obviously need the Blessings of God.. π
From my early days I have seen my Parents praying every morning so even I made a habit to Pray the God,no matter what festival it is I made it sure to visit a temple with my Parents and seek blessings.. π
But things have changed now–I stay away from my Parents so I don’t have the opportunity to visit temples with them or to pray with them but what hasn’t changed is that I never go out with offering prayer to the God and never miss to visit a Temple during any festival..
God has given us so many things and we couldn’t ask for more but everytime I bow before him,I always have something to ask him..But that something is always to ask him to “Give me the strength to Perform my duties“,infact this is the only thing I have asked him and will always until I stop breathing, because I believe “God Help those who Help Themselves“.In my prayer I ask him “To give me the strength to rise against any odd, give me the strength to make my Parents happy, give me the strength to fulfill my Parents and my Sweetheart wishes and always ask him to make me suitable for the society“.
Well The Strip says it All–Everyone Has a Reason to Pray

Well Well I am not done yet…As one more reason to Celebrate and Pray is on the way–Guess What Diwali–The Festival of Lights is round the corner also celebrated as Lakshmi Puja–The Goddess of Wealth.Well even last year also we(Me and My Roommates) celebrated Diwali with lots of enthusiasm but being Bachelors and staying away from Home we were not able to celebrate it the Traditional Way like we used to do with our Parents..
So this time also the Planning is still going on and Guess what I came across something wonderful this time and it is “Sampoorna Lakshmi Pooja Pack“,a complete pack for people like us who want to celebrate the Puja in traditional way but don’t have enough knowledge. This pack has all the necessary items and also comes with a booklet and a CD,which has the necessary procedures and shlokas to be recited during performing the Puja. So,Isn’t it great,I am happy to find such a product as because I will be satisfied performing The Puja in a Homely way staying away from Home and will be reliving my memories and creating unforgettable ones.. and I hope Lakshmi Goddess gets happy with me and make my Purse fat in coming Days.. π
So Wishing Everyone “A Very Happy And Lightful Diwali”.. π
Have a Great Festival of Lights and I hope it brings Joy to Everyone… π

Thank You Anne for such a Lovely Comment.. π
And As you have spent days in India,So I wish you Happy Diwali Too.. π
I hope you have celebrated Diwali when you were in India.. π
No , we were in India from January until the first of May. I have never celebrated Diwali , but even in the US, Diwali is known! I am a Christian and there is verse in the Bible. , in Proverbs which is appropriate here: “train(teach) up a child in the way he should go , and when he is old, he won’t depart from it ! ( not that you are old!) congratulations to your parents for raising such a fine Godly son!
Oh…So missed that part I guess but nevertheless you can enjoy that in US.. π
And I hope during your stay you have enjoyed Holi which falls in March or April.. π
And I thank You again Anne.. π and moreover I am lucky to such Parents.. π

Had so much fun at Holi and the kite flying! Were are you living?
Great to know that… π
Basically I am from Assam, but now staying in Bangalore… π
We didn’t get to Bangalore. I know it is a big international business center! Are you involved with business or IT?
Yup Bangalore is known as the Silicon Valley as well as Garden City of India.. π
And Yes I am into IT… π
We were in Ahmedabad and it is the Boston of India, because of the colleges that Modi has started from 11 to now 42 and also the Manchester of India because of the mills and cloth productions! Have a lovely weekend!
Yup I know that..Even Ahmedabad is one of the fastest developing city in India.. π
And You too have a Great Weekend.. π
I hope the rest of incredible India gets to be inspired and filled with hope to be lead by a born and bread Indian strong leader….Namo….I think you like him , too!
In my view the strength of real India lies in the hands of youth, you know Indian Youths like me should be active for the overall development in India.. π
And as I said earlier looking at the current state of India Modi fits the bill pretty well.. π
Yes, yes…I agree. We heard from the students at CEPT and the friends I made in film industry your very words. I heard Mr.. Modi say that India has the largest college educated young work force in the world. Wow…gives me shivers! I wish I could vote for him. I love that he gives hope to people who can learn how he became this strong leader after selling tea on the train! what a story…and he is so bright!
Have you read Chetan Bhagat’s What Young India Wants? Sorry if I asked you that before! Very easy to read with quite simple English…I think so many people who are not so proficient in English can read it too!
Yup I read that book and his book is basically targated to Indians hence the english is biy easy… π
And yes India has the largest youth population and The average age of India is 25-28 years which means the youth is the driving force of India
Wow…I didn’t know the ages….amazing…..Chinese have killed their babies in the forced abortion.. . . . I figured that he wrote in simple English to widen the reading public. He is quite intelligent . Are your friends wanting a PM Modi?
Yup most of them…. π
Garden City. . . are there lots of gardens? We were surprised that Indian has so many fewer gardens than lots of countries. Lovely one at Taj and the small Taj in Delhi….we love gardens…maybe we should go to see Bangalore!
Yes there lots of Gardens..Some are Small and Some big… π
Yes You should visit Bangalore next time you are in India.. π
Sounds great! Will tell the architect….he makes the itinerary! Architecture all the time. . . . .8-)
Well then I wish you luck in that… π
Well, architecture has been very good to me…..because of him, we have been blessed to travel to many wonderful places!
Hope you get to travel to India again….. π
Me too. Have you read my “about” page? There is a wonderful quote from an Indian that sums up my feelings exactly! I am so thankful that I was able to go once, but would be doubly blessed to go twice!
Ya I Did… π
And I hope that u get visit India soon and see Mr.Modi as PM… π
