Guwahati-A Little Insight
Guwahati-A City,A Home and surely where my Heart Belongs..
A City I have seen since I was 5 years old and now when I look at it after 20 years,I see the difference-A Tiny City growing into a cosmopolitan flavour.I have seen its rise and fall and now it looks steady in shaping itself in what we call a metro city, though it is way behind from most of the India’s well established cities but still it is developing in a much rapid pace,A pace I never thought Guwahati would ever attain..Now I just love to see its progress, imagine a better and bigger picture of Guwahati. So much is associated with this City,it won’t be wrong to say entire Assam or North-East develops with its development.Being the gateway to North-East,Guwahati has its own flavor developing in its own niche, from tall buildings, commercial hubs, food joints, picturesque scenery,it does offer a lot to its locals as well as to the folks who visit this place.Guwahati is to entire North-East as what Delhi,Mumbai or Bengaluru is to India.
Every city has its own set of problems and Guwahati is no exception but what important is how we tackle them, over the years Guwahati has done that, still a long way to go..but Guwahati’s progress is certainly driving other towns and cities in Assam to be progressive.
That was little insight of my lovely, little city..And I wish my city to prosper in every way possible.. 🙂
Will be writing on Guwahati more often with more details..
