Voters Right to Reject all Candidates–Landmark Judgement By SC

On Friday one of the landmark judgement by SC powered the Voters with the Right to reject all the candidates mentioned in the Ballot Machine(Electronic Voting Machine)…I must appreciate SC for some the recent Landmark Judgement but this one is above all…Kudos to SC.. 😀

Now What the Right is all about–Read On

Supreme Court-The Highest Judicial Forum and Final Court of Appeal in India on Friday in a landmark judgement for the first time provided the option of casting a negative vote to the Voters if they find no suitable candidates.

In a democracy like India such judgement and right is very much appreciated especially at the current moment when Politics is full of Corrupted Politicians.A much appreciated judgement before the General Elections in 2014.

Supreme Court has asked the Election Commission to provide the option of “None of the Above “(NOTA) at the end of the list of the Candidate’s in Electronic Voting Machine(EVM’s).

SC said–“If right to vote is statutory right, right to reject candidate is fundamental right of speech and expression under Constitution”.

With these Power the citizens will be able to do much more justice to their votes and I believe will use this Right in for the betterment of India.

Please share the news as much as possible as everyone should know about this right.. 🙂
And here is the Highlights of the Judgement passed as appeared on Times of India

A Typical Scene of our Politicians-Mrs.Sonia and Mr.PM

I guess everyone is aware of the fact that Mrs.Sonia Gandhi is out of India for her health check up in The US.This happened few days ago when she was rushed to AIIMS last Monday after she complained of chest pain and exhaustion in the Lok Sabha during the discussion on Food Security Bill when it was in the last stages of adoption.I guess Politicians in India are pretty good actors too.. 😛

Now here is the typical scene I interpreted as Sonia Gandhi from The US talking to Mr. Manmohan Singh in Delhi..Check it out and have fun.. 🙂

And I guess the main reason Politicians look for scams as they have to pay for their Medical Check-Up.. 😛

With all said and done..I wish Sonia Ji to get well soon and fly back to India and stop fooling Indians.. 🙂

Now This Is Fun-A Way to Protest

I guess everyone has heard about Political Satire coming up every now and then..and if you search the net you are sure to find many such sites.Recently there was a site called narendramodiplans.com just to make some decent satire on Politicians which was fairly constructive as per the owner of the Site…The Site was nothing more than playing with JavaScript if I have to be precise and as the Site Creator stated “In a country with freedom of speech,I assumed that I am allowed to make decent satire on any politician more particularly if it’s constructive. Clearly, I was wrong.”

I guess he is clearly wrong as Freedom of Speech in India is only for those who have the power and I believe that Site Creator is nowhere close to power(Even I am not close to any Power–So Please Don’t poke me ;))..The Site was launched 17th July 2013 and got 60,000 hits in just 20 hours before it was taken down with a note of the Site Owner…Now that is pretty amazing–I guess India is getting  more and more capable in browsing the Net.. 😉

But little did I know that ideas are born not to die but to grow into an Adult and that’s what exactly happened–Two Friends from Mumbai–Web designer Alexander Gounder and Blogger Vidyut Kale got the domain and the site is up again and running so Take a Look at  narendramodiplans.com..Now again here is the magic of JavaScript and I guess as far as People are aware of technologies they shouldn’t get irritated by this at all….Now isn’t it is a real Fun way to Protest…I guess it is 🙂

News Courtesy–Times of India

P.S–As I said I am no close to any power, although I am an Indian Citizen please spare me if I have breached the Freedom of Speech Right.

And as always my Interpretation on this…A Cartoon Strip.. 🙂

Encounters with Police I mean Indian Police

Earlier I wrote a Post on Indian Police with the Title Real Beggars of India. But Sometimes they comes so hard at you that you have no choice but to give them some money and make them leave your way

I had many encounters with Police and most of the time I was on the right side but still they were coming so hard at me.But as I was on the right side I did stand them and at last I ended up paying nothing to them. This post is about two incident that I faced back in my Engineering Days and co-incidentally both took place at the Railway Station .

Things I learned

  1. Know the rules and regulations of the state or place you are visiting.
  2. If you are right never hesitate to fight.
  3. No matter how hard it is never end up paying Money.
  4. Always remember any Government Officials are Public Servants.

Though I am posting the incident as Cartoon I hope it is able to convey the situation I faced… 🙂

1.Me and My Girlfriend at Guwahati Railway Station:-We were there to book my return ticket from Guwahati to Bangalore and a RPF(Railway Protection Force) Constable thought they we were fleeing, there was a heated argument of about 15 minutes. And it all came to an end after the intervention of a Lady Constable:-

2.Me at Rangia Railway Station:-I faced a Assam Police Officer in this station asking for PRC(Permanent Residence Certificate). Even in this situation also I had an argument and He also threatened me of not allowing to continue my travel.
