One Horned Rhino-Its Sorry State

As we all know One Horned Rhino is found only in Assam,India. It is kind of Pride not only to Assam but to whole of India, but as you all know the kind of sorry state they are going through…on the verge of extinction because of only few who just in the name of few bucks don’t care to kill them.

Just 10-12 days has passed in 2015 and 3 rhinos has been killed, what a shameful act.And we as citizen of Assam and India just don’t care enough..

Don’t talk about our leaders,The Assam Government just don’t care and never will…Even the Central Govt. have put a blind eye towards it.

No one seems to care and in no time they will be History… 😦

If by any chance our Prime Minister happens to go through this,I would just like to request him to take necessary and stern steps to Save Our Pride-The One Horned Rhino.

Seer,Indian Government and Gold

So,almost for past few days everyone in India must have heard about the Gold Excavation that going on in full Swing at Unnao in UP..Now from Where did the Government came to know about the Hidden Treasure beneath a Fort..Well as we all know in India Spiritual Gurus holds a special Status Quo,for example take the case of Asaram Bapu(who is currently in jail though :-P)..Now in this case another Seer named “Shobhan Sarkar” claimed to have dreamt of 1000 tonnes of gold is buried in the remains of the fort of Raja Rao Ram Bux Singh in Daundiya Kheda village of Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh and it that was not enough he furhter dreamt of 2,500 tonnes of Gold buried in an ancient temple at Adampur village, around 200km away in the district of Fatehpur…

And Surprisingly he was also able to convince the Government about this and persuaded them to dig both the Places..So now the status is Gold Excavation is at full Swing and making a Mockery of India out of all these…

I can understand that spiritual gurus are uneducated,so they dream such things but How can ASI(Archaeological Survey of India) that is full of educated lot can believe in such facts and destroy the Archaeological Sites that they were suppose to preserve…Really pathetic Government we have and with this kind of Government,Seer’s India is only bound to get mocked and nothing else..

A simple thought to The Indian Government–The Gold if it really exist is in India only but What about all the Black Money that you guys have earned by fooling Indians,The trick is good to deviate Indians from the main issue but such things will simply destroy India’s Rich Cultural and Traditional Heritage and will make India a laughing stock…Indian Government–If you can’t do anything good you don’t have the Right to do the worse..

And a Strip to our Unfaithful Government of India….

Important Things Indian Must Know..

In this post I will try to put lights on some Rules and Laws that every Indian must be aware of..In India basically there are rules for everything, but hardly they are followed,I mean in India it is quite common to break Laws and Rules and so the saying fits correctly “Rules are made to be Broken”,But can’t we Indians be little responsible and follow the rules and Laws that we know,if we follow the Rules and Laws, many things will be under control and India will be a better place.. 😀

The Rules and Laws in this post is not new and I guess most of us know about them, but we hardly use them when needed,So I urge all the Indians to know the Rules and Law and use them whenever necessary arrives but don’t use them for your own benefit…

  1. There is a rule of not riding on the footpaths but Many does that,Footpaths is meant for pedestrians and not for Bikers,So Please avoid it to get in any sort of trouble.
  2. Wearing Helmets–Many Love riding a Bike without wearing Helmet but they never understand that wearing Helmet is for their own safety and not for others,So Be Safe and Wear Helmets.
  3. Wait for the Green Signal, many a times I have seen Cars and Bikes zoomed off even before the green signal is ON,waiting for 10-15 seconds is not a loss at all and To Pedestrians, never cross the road when the Traffic is in flow and always use Zebra Crossing..
  4. Women cannot be detained or arrest by Police at Night,When a Woman is arrested it must be done by a Woman Police and a Woman can’t be called in a Police Station that has no Woman Police Officer.
  5. The legal age of Marriage in India is 18 years for Girls and 21 years for Boys.According to The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2006 no Girl and Boy can be forced to marry before the legal age of Marriage.According to UNICEF 47% of Child Marriages occur in India. And Without the consent of the Girl or the Boy they can’t be forced to marry even after their legal age.
  6. Use Consumer Forum for all kinds of concerns involving multinational companies, malls, banks, utility services and so on and Consumer Forum will ensure that to you get your right with dignity and respect. And Consumer Forum is really helpful(Personal Experience).
  7. Banking Ombudsman–A Senior Official appointed by the RBI of India to address grievances and complaints from customers, regarding deficiencies in banking services. It covers all kinds of banks – PSU Banks, Private banks, Rural banks and co-operative banks.
  8. If you are going to file a FIR(First Investigation Report) and the Police refuse to register it,you can make a complaint to a higher ranking officer such as the Superintendent of Police (SP), the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) or the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and can even complain to Judicial Magistrate,Policeman refusing to register FIR will face upto 1 year of jail..
  9. You can file online complaint on various issues in National Human Rights Commission–http://nhrc.nic.in/
  10. While purchasing any kinds of Good always take a Bill,it is your right to ask for the Bill as without the Bill it is only us who is in the losing side
  11. Register the Names of Domestic Helps with the Police.
  12. And Last but not least Be Indian first, leave your Religion,Community behind and stand together as Indians..

The List does not end here I will add up more as I recollect them…For the time being keep these above said Rules or Laws or whatever you call them in your mind.. 🙂

Bihar Train Tragedy–Who is to be Blamed?

On 19th August 2013,The Dhamara station in Bihar’s Khagaria district witnessed a horrific train tragedy in which as per the reports 37 people lost their lives and around 24 others sustained injuries. The incident occurred between 7:30 am to 8:00 am when the Saharsa-Patna Rajyarani Express travelling at 80 kmph ran over them, the express train was not scheduled to stop at that station..

More details are available here–Hindustan Times.

This post is in no means to discuss the tragedy or to give a report on the tragedy rather I am writing this clarify who is to be blamed for this horrifying incident.

Who is to be blamed–The Government,The Railway Officials,The Linemen,The Passenger of the Train,The Loco Pilot or The People who were crossing the tracks….Tell me Who is to be blamed?

Since Dhamara is a very small station there is no facility of foot over-bridge and the people have to take the tracks to go either side of the Station and truly speaking this station does not see much crowd except this time of the year, the auspicious month of Sawan during which devotees heads to the Katyayani Temple and the way to reach this temple is through this station.

  • As I mentioned the Express train bound to Patna was not scheduled to stop at The Dhamara station,so it was travelling with its usual speed as I guess the it was given Green Signal by the lineman or the Railways,so blaming the Railway Person or the Lineman is out of question as they didn’t know that some people will be crossing the tracks,as we all know tracks are not meant to be used as footpaths or for crossing activities.
  • The question of blaming the Passengers in the Train is really out of context and they can never be in question.
  • Now most of the People are blaming the Loco Pilot of the Train but my question is What is there to blame him?He intentionally didn’t run the train on the people crossing the tracks and he tried his best to prevent the tragedy but to stop a train with 80 kmph and about 700 passenger on board is surely not like playing a game..Had he tried to save those 37 people the accident would have been more fatal, more lives would have been lost, more injuries would have been reported.
  • Now coming to the people who were crossing the Tracks-I feel there was some mistake on their parts as they knew they were crossing the railway tracks, they should have been more careful, had they looked on both sides(right and left),they could have easily sighted the train coming towards them and who the hell on earth doesn’t hear the horn of train or the sound of the engine–especially Engines of Indian Railways.I guess they were so immersed in devotion that they were far from reality.
  • The Government,The Railway Dept. has also a part to play in this tragedy,In India every year many people lost their lives crossing railway tracks, even though Railway is making a huge profit they are yet  not able to  provide certain amenities for the betterment of the People–No matter how small a station is,a Foot over-bridge is must, had their been a Foot over-bridge such kind of tragedy never would have taken place.

So all in all the Tragedy happened because of the negligence on the part of the People crossing the tracks and The Government and Railway Dept. for not providing required amenities to the People even after knowing the rush this time of the year.

Apart from that some people, better to call them mob took the incident to another level burning train coaches, uprooting tracks, beating up the loco pilot, destroying public properties and railway offices to show the anger.I wonder why they showed their anger after the incident, they could have shown their anger before and pressurizing the Govt. and The Railway Dept. to build a Foot Over-Bridge in Dhamara station and they could have saved the lives of 37 people.

With all the sympathy to People who lost their lives and condolences to their family I still believe it was those people on the tracks who were fully responsible because they were not aware..So,I urge everyone to be aware as much as you can in every step of life as there is no harm in being aware and awareness surely help us keep away many problems….

Advice to Our Prime Minister from A Commonman

On 15th August 2013 India celebrated its 67th Independence Day and as usual it  was the PM of India who delivered the speech at the Red Fort…I listened to his speech for about 10 minutes and after that I felt like there is no good listening to his speech as his speech is all made of some fake promises, some fake verses and all…

A common man would feel like breaking his TV sets listening to his speech, though his speech was full of hope but his speech lacked the positivity that one would expect from a PM…So to show my frustration on his speech I made a cartoon which I proudly dedicate to our incompetent PM and Government…

You can check the highlights of his speech here-Indian Express,if you are really interested to know what he said..Addressing the Nation from a Bullet Proof Box is very easy for our leaders but I wonder if they can say such nice things in their speech why can’t they do the same in reality…

Sorry Indians

Sorry Indians

Dear Indians–It is of no use looking at our leaders for betterment of India instead become aware, know your rights, duties and responsibilities towards India and help it grow with glow…And to our PM please open your mouth without anyone’s support…

Portal For Public Grievances-A System that Works

I am not sure how many of us heard about the Public Grievances services offered by Government of India and is brought to us by Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances.

So What this Portal Means–As per the portal site for Public Grievances mention it–“The Department of Administrative Reforms And Public Grievances is the nodal agency to formulate policy guidelines for citizen-centric governance in the country. Redress of citizens’ grievances ,being one of the most important initiatives of the department,DAR&PG formulates public grievance redress mechanisms for effective and timely redress / settlement of citizens’ grievances. “

And as per Wikipedia it goes like this—The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances is to facilitate the pursuit of excellence in governance through promotion of:

  • Improvements in Government structures and processes.
  • Citizen-friendly initiatives including redressal of public grievances.
  • Documentation, incubation and dissemination of best practices.
  • Codification and simplification of procedures.
  • Networking with various agencies.

In short this is the nodal agency which look into the Grievances of Indian Citizen, but for this an Indian Citizen must lodge their Grievances with them and they have a very neat way for the Citizen to lodge the Grievances.

You can–Lodge Your Grievances,Put a reminder or Ask for Clarification on your past Grievances and Even check the status of your Grievances.

Now you all must be thinking why I am saying these things–Actually I had lodged a Grievance with this agency and to my surprise the Grievance was addressed  and they even responded to it…When I saw their response I was just unable to believe that some system in Indian Government actually works though I lodged my Grievance on January 2013 and was replied on August 2013–after 7 months but still I was happy that it was address because as we all know it is India and process here takes hell lot of time…

So,I thought of highlighting this and make the common people aware of the facility….So,if you have any Grievances please don’t hesitate to lodge it afterall it is our right to ask the Government to look into our Grievances…But I really can’t guarantee the time frame it will need to get addressed… 😛

Now here is the response I received from the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public GrievancesGrievance Status(The Response)
