Misty Morning at Kaziranga National park
A misty morning welcomed us on our Elephant Safari at Kaziranga National Park.Chilled winter time filled with Dense Fog..
Dusk
When the day is about to end,Dusk offer a very soothing view to our eyes no matter where we are, that’s nature to us.
This was taken when the Sun was going down at the Mighty River Brahmaputra,Guwahati…Beautiful isn’t it?
This was taken using a mobile phone with 5 megapixel camera and to my astonishment it came like a masterpiece 😛
And now I believe “Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.. 😉 “
Morning Bliss
Kizaranga National Park-Passing through the NH-37
What is the first think that comes to your mind thinking about Kaziranga National Park in Assam?
For me it is-One Horned Rhinoceros,Yes Kaziranga is famous for One Horned Rhinoceros.
But Kaziranga is much more than that and one witnesses its beauty while passing through NH-37,the Highway that connects Upper Assam passes right through Kaziranga and most of the time you will find Herd of Elephants like these
Kaziranga starts after crossing Jakhalabandha(A Small Town in Assam) which is around 50 kms frm Nagaon,I often travels through this route just to look at animals at their Natural Best and most of the time I am not disappointed.
The Above picture shows a Herd of Deer(if you can spot them) relaxing, sorry of the bad quality of the image.
Kaziranga remains open for 6 months i.e. from November to April, but from this years onwards if everything goes well, kaziranga will remain open from 8 months i.e. from October to May.
And sometimes you will find few water birds looking for their meal.
Most of the time I hop on to my Bike and take this pleasant, scenic road..It helps me to calm down, feel the nature pretty close to me.
When Kaziranga is opened for tourist,Elephant Rides and Jeep Safaris are available which takes them inside the park to have a look at varied flora and fauna.
And also to have a closer look at them—
October is coming and Kaziranga will be open after few more days, though there is no official announcement of opening Kaziranga from October,I hope it does and to keep you updated check out here and here,if you are planning to visit Kaziranga.Kaziranga is around 220 Kms from Guwahati and is well-connected by Road.
And in case you need more information I am always here to serve you.Visit Kaziranga and Kaziranga will assure you the best wildlife experience.
