If we go by the Books it is The line that separates the Earth from the Sky,But has anyone ever seen that line….It is always like as much as close we get to them they seem to be as much as far from us,but then that is the way it is defined.. 😀

So,instead of defining we just can look at them and adore.. 😀

During my trip to Kanyakumari,it was mostly around the Sea waters and that’s what I went to see there,the meeting point of 3 Seas….

Can you spot the Fish?It took me while to spot it as it was some what Camouflaged,thanks to my Brother who helped me to spot it clearly.. 🙂

And when I was in Kanyakumari I didn’t miss the chance to go to Kovalam and enjoy the Backwaters and there I spotted some Aquatic Birds and here they are.. 🙂

I don’t know the name of this Bird so I called him The Attitude Bird.. 😉

Even the name of this bird is not known by me..But this Bird was not influenced by the world around and was doing its work attentively,So I called it as  ‘The Attentive Watcher’ looking for fish.. 😉

The Famous Place in Kanyakumari–In Images

The famous Place in Kanyakumari as we all know is the Vivekananda Rock Memorial where Swami Vivekananda  during the month of December 1892 went to this Rock for deep meditation and enlightenment.He swam to this rock and meditated about the past, present and future of India. It is said that he attained enlightenment on the rock, and henceforth became a reformer and philosopher.

So this place is considered very Sacred and is a major tourist attraction and tourist in huge number visit this place everyday…and why not this place is really worth a visit..So here it is–

Another famous place that lies just few meters away from the Vivekananda Rock Memorial is The Thiruvalluvar Statue which is 133 ft tall stone sculpture  of the Tamil Poet and Saint Thiruvalluvar,a magnificent statue above the sea is a delight to watch..

Both these attractions look great and is a delight to eyes and looks great at night with lights all over the place..To reach this Place Tamil Nadu Govt. runs regular ferry service and the ticket cost is around 34 INR to and fro and the timings is from morning 9 o’clock to 5 o’clock in the Evening..
