Striking Waves..

During my visit to Kanyakumari–The one shot that was on my mind was to shot the sea waves pretty close to me and I was lucky enough to get hold of one.. ๐Ÿ™‚

But to take this shot I had to wait for around half an hour as the waves I guess was in mood to make me wait..But I am thankful and after seeing the shots I guess the wait was worth enough.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Waves Nearing The Lens

Waves Nearing The Lens

Mahatma Gandhi said–“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”

Theodore Isaac Rubin –“Have you considered that if you don’t make waves, nobody including yourself will know that you are alive?”

And Here Is The Day I came To This World–Happy Birthday to Me..

So,It is 29th August and on this very day on 1989 I was born–Don’t know how was the weather though but my mom says I was crying like hell–Anyways I wish myself “Happy Birthday” and here is my wish to me.. ๐Ÿ˜›

“Jo Bhi Cahu Woh Main Pau
Zindagi Mein Jeet Jao
ย Maan Jaa Ye Khuda
Itne se hai Dua
Main Jyada Nahi Maangta;”

BTW These lines are from the song “Chaand Taare” of the movie “Yes Boss”

And the same wish in English,in case God is not comfortable in Hindi… ๐Ÿ˜‰

“Whatever I wish,I may Get
Come Out as a Winner in Life
Dear God Please fulfill,
Only these prayers
I don’t ask for anymore;”

And ย Some great person said me “Harsha, you were born to do big deeds,But all these years no Big Deeds happened and only I got older and older… ๐Ÿ˜›
Chill guys it is just a joke.. ๐Ÿ˜€

So,I have completed 24 years on Earth and these 24 years was full of ups and downs and I learned a lot things from life, surroundings, people and always tried to be a better human being… :).All these years I learned some important things in life and here it is–Check out if you want to.. ๐Ÿ™‚

My Age

My Age

And on this day I take time to thank The God,My Parents for whom I was able to see this World–full of Colors… ๐Ÿ™‚

And On my B’Day I remember the saying of Mahatma Gandhi–โ€œA man is but a product of his thoughts. What he thinks he becomes.โ€ and I always think and strive to be a better human being.. ๐Ÿ™‚

With all said and done and wishing myself a Grand Birthday–I present my fellow bloggers and readers few Images–The Image is of Triveni Sangam at Kanyakumari where 3 oceans meet namely–Indian Ocean,Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal..Watch the Image closely and attentively…

Please look carefully at the above Images and you will find three distinct color of Waters that is because of the density of water of all the 3 oceans are not same and when they meet it appears as if there is a thin boundary between them andย a surface tension is developed between them that acts like a thin wall and does not allow them to mix.

And this is what Mahatma Gandhi Ji said about this place…

So,ending this post with again wishing myself “A Very Happy Birthday”..Time for party.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Religion-What It Is and What We Think

Religion is a vast topic to write about in a single post and the more long it goes the more readers lose their interest. So here I will try to keep it simple and to the point, though it is the subject I believe no human has understood to the perfection even though he claims to be God’s Messenger and I am no different…

Religion as defined by Wikipedia–Religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to the supernatural, and to spirituality.

It does relate us some way or the other to the Supernatural ‘The God’ and there are some people in every religion who try to act as if they are the bridge between The Humans and The Supernatural…Oh I hate such people.

But my point is–In Early Days(By Early Days I mean when Human first evolved) when people had no god to worship, what did they do?Nothing they were just busy in surviving but in Today’s world it has become like–because of Religion we are surviving….Look how the world has changed.

Any sensible human being with a fair intellectual capacity will always point religion as their part of life but not life, but generally this doesn’t happen and so the world is in Chaos and it will always be in Chaos until and unless Humanity succeed Religion and I fear if it is ever going to happen…For me I just need a peace world to live in where Religion doesn’t come between Humanity.

No Religion in this world is flawless and the sooner we Human Being realize this fact the better or else some people(love to call them as ‘God’s Messenger’ )in every religion will lead us to a Pit Hole from where there is no way out.Get to your concise before it’s too late…Religion is to love not to spread Hatred,at least that’s what i learned all these years.

For me I really don’t mind offering my prayers in a Temple,Mosque,Church or Gurudwara as for I know God is one and they stays in our heart maybe in different form….and the same goes for a sensible human being.

And At Last answer my one question—Religion created Human Being or Human being created Religion?

Religion-Past and Present

Religion-Past and Present

I end my Post with a Cartoon to decide for yourself….Think About It..

Life Is Hard,but Beautiful

“Life is Hard but so very Beautiful”-Abraham Lincoln…

They say life is hard but they fail to understand how beautiful life is!!We have happiness and sorrows in our life it is because if we don’t what sorrow is,we may never value happiness and the same goes for life.It is a kind of Roller-Coaster ride.

The other day I was having a chat with my very good friend,he is also my roommate. He was feeling very down because at this very moment nothing is falling into place for him and somehow I was able to cheer him up and I was very happy that he was smiling at least.

At times,we really have some tough times and I know it very well, even I have been through such times in my life and to be very precise at a very young age and still have problems but I never let those problems come into my way and make me feel like a failure. When I feel down I always think of the people for whom I live,my dear ones,my parents and of course my sweetheart. The support i got from them is really appreciable especially my parents and my sweetheart,I always find them by my side and that’s why I never let anything to let me down and the same thing I said to my friend.

That day me and my friend really spent a quality time together which I can’t describe in words,we even cried literally(we generally don’t do this) for a while because they say when you cry it makes your heart lighter and it really did.

So I thought of making a Cartoon and dedicate it to my friend and our friendship.

Life is Hard But Beautiful

Life is Hard But Beautiful

And it reminds me of a Hindi film dialogue from “Om Shanti Om”-

“Hamari Zindagi mein bhi end tak sab kuch theek hee hoo jata hai
Happies ending or aagr theek na hoo,
Too woh the end nahi, picture abhi baaki hai mere dost”

Meaning In English-

“Everything in our life comes to a Good End and
ย if Everything is Not Good then
ย It is not the End”

There is so much to more life when we are optimistic and don’t lose hope and faith and I really believe to have faith in myself even more than god.

Put A Halt on Women Voilence

WHO - Violence against woman“The thing women have yet to learn is nobody gives you power. You just take it.”-Roseanne Barr,a well known American Actress,Writerย television producer, director and 2012ย presidentialย nominee of theย California-basedย Peace and Freedom Party.

And it is very truly said,Being a responsible citizen I really want Indian Women and the Women around the world to stand up and fight for injustice, crime, atrocities happening with them because no one would ever know the pain of a Woman until you are a Woman. So,stand up for yourself and make this world follow theย suite, show them the true potential you hold to change the world and make it a better place to live in and once you stand up for yourself you will find millions standing with you, supporting you and joining hands with you to fight the evil out of this world.

Some statistics

Women Crime 2011(NCRB Data)

Women Crime 2011(NCRB Data)

Here is the NCRB-Crime Against Womenย data.

The amount of Crime against Women in India is on the rise with each passing day.Crimes like Rapes,Female Foeticide,Dowry,Child Marriages,Honor Killing,Domestic Violence all has piled up in recent times and now the time has come to put a halt on it.People who commit such crimes feel that the women are weak and thus can easily be suppressed.

But the main concern still remains that is ‘How can we put a halt to such crimes?’.To me until and unless we change our perception towards Women and Girls such thing will always be there and the best means to change one’s perception is education, illiteracy is main root to all evil, once we are educated well enough our concise will always make us a better one for the society.Apart from thatย promoting specific morals or values may be controversial,as such efforts are often associated with repressive and narrowly defined visions of the common good. Moral capabilities are essential, but the means to develop them must be consistent with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, aimed at fostering the spiritual, social and intellectual development of all people.

Such capabilities can be taught in schools but will not be effective unless they take root in family and community.Neighbours, educators, health workers, employers, politicians, religious leaders, police, media professionalsโ€“all share responsibility for the protection of women.Promoting the eradication of elements in traditional norms and religious beliefs, practices and stereotypes which legitimise and exacerbate the persistence and tolerance of violence against women and children.Introducing and supporting gender sensitisation and public awareness programmes aimed at eradicating violence against women and children.Encouraging the media to play a constructive role in the eradication of violence against women and children by adopting guidelines which ensure sensitive coverage of the issue and avoid the perpetuation of stereotypes.

To make this all happen and to stop the crime against women we must rise up and stand together and pledge to make this world a better place to live in for Women.

This Post is written for Indichnage Campaing-Write the Changeย Ring The Bellย for my support in the power collective actions of responsible citizen of the society to bring a change,a change ย that we all want.

Ending on a Positive Noteย I promise to ring the bell by:-by educating the society and spreading awareness among my fellow citizens about the atrocities on Women and how to fight and overcome them.
