A Reason to Pray-Gratitude to God

At times I sit around thinking why we pray to God..and no answers come to my mind except my hands folding with a bowing head before him,The Almighty and my heart whisper “A Reason to Pray”.. 😀

We all have one reason or the other for anything we do in life and one such thing is Praying-there is always a reason for praying too,but that reason is never static and every other day we bow before God we have a different reason to pray,Humans we are–as the matter of fact we never are content with what we have but that is how we are…and that is the reason we pray, maybe human way to show Gratitude to God.

Well a Human Being I am.. ;),Even I do have reasons to pray,to bow myself before the almighty…Indeed a lot of for I am young with lots of dreams in my eyes to fulfill in coming years…And for that I obviously need the Blessings of God.. 😀
From my early days I have seen my Parents praying every morning so even I made a habit to Pray the God,no matter what festival it is I made it sure to visit a temple with my Parents and seek blessings.. 😀

But things have changed now–I stay away from my Parents so I don’t have the opportunity to visit temples with them or to pray with them but what hasn’t changed is that I never go out with offering prayer to the God and never miss to visit a Temple during any festival..

Pure Prayer

Pure Prayer

God has given us so many things and we couldn’t ask for more but everytime I bow before him,I always have something to ask him..But that something is always to ask him to “Give me the strength to Perform my duties, infact this is the only thing I have asked him and will always until I stop breathing, because I believe “God Help those who Help Themselves“.In my prayer I ask him “To give me the strength to rise against any odd, give me the strength to make my Parents happy, give me the strength to fulfill my Parents and my Sweetheart wishes and always ask him to make me suitable for the society“.

Everyone Has A Reson To Pray

Everyone Has A Reason To Pray

Well Well I am not done yet…As one more reason to Celebrate and Pray is on the way–Guess What Diwali–The Festival of Lights is round the corner also celebrated as Lakshmi Puja–The Goddess of Wealth.Well even last year also we(Me and My Roommates) celebrated Diwali with lots of enthusiasm but being Bachelors and staying away from Home we were not able to celebrate it the Traditional Way like we used to do with our Parents..

So this time also the Planning is still going on and Guess what I came across something wonderful this time and it is “Sampoorna Lakshmi Pooja Pack“,a complete pack for people like us who want to celebrate the Puja in traditional way but don’t have enough knowledge. This pack has all the necessary items and also comes with a booklet and a CD,which has the necessary procedures and shlokas to be recited during performing the Puja. So,Isn’t it great,I am happy to find such a product as because I will be satisfied performing The Puja in a Homely way staying away from Home and will be reliving my memories and creating unforgettable ones.. and I hope Lakshmi Goddess gets happy with me and make my Purse fat in coming Days.. 😉

So Wishing Everyone “A Very Happy And Lightful Diwali”.. 😀

Shiv Temple-An Amazing Display of Architecture in Bangalore

So,This year Durga Puja came to an end on 14th October as Bijoya Dashami being the last day when The Durga Maa is immersed in water,As being in Bangalore I didn’t have the opportunity to see much of Durga Puja which I did back in my Home…So this time Me and few of My Friends decided to go somewhere else–though related to God,So after a bit of discussion we ended up deciding to Visit a Shiv Temple, which is what they say a Great Display of Architecture.. 😀

Well to start of this Shiv Temple is sure visit if you are in Bangalore. It is at Murugeshpalya, just next to Total Mall–A 10 minutes walk from “The Leela Palace” hotel.
And Going through The Photographs of this temple will surely make you to visit this Temple.. 😀

The Temple is in the Vicinity of the City,so it is very easy to get to this temple and can be easily reached using private or public transport…. 😀

Om Namah Shivaya

Om Namah Shivaya

The Temple is very beautifully built,Upon Entering we will see the Ganesha Deity–The Son of Lord Shiva(And One of my Favorite Deity),Generally known as Vighna Vinasha and The reason we see Lord Ganesha at the start of many temple is because According to Hindu Mythology Lord Shiva once gave him Vardan(Blessing) saying that no prayers would not be considered complete if Lord Ganesha is not worshiped at the beginning.

We offered prayer and moved on to The Lord Shiva Deity..The way to the deity is built like a cave with inscriptions on the wall of different famous Shiv Temples found in India,But we have to pay 30INR to get to the Deity, infact entering the temple main gate will cost you 2INR and Camera charge is 25INR,I guess even God’s are not away from Commercialization.. 😉

All in All it was pretty relaxing experience visiting this temple and though I am not so religious,I love visiting Place of Worship. So,If you are in Bangalore or have visited Bangalore, this place is a must visit though avoid going on Mondays if you want some peace as there will be huge rush during Mondays,We went during evening and got to attend the evening Aarti,so if you can attend that. There is also provision for special entry which is 50INR if you hate standing in Queues.

So Guys,What do you think about this Temple and The Architecture–I guess it is Amazing and a Must visit place.. 😀

The October Month is the festive time well almost all over the World,But as we all know India is full of Culture and Tradition,so here the festive months gets a whole lot new meaning and October being the month of celebration of Durga Puja or Navaratri,India becomes colorful more than ever.. 😀

Durga Puja–A festival that embarks worship of Goddess Durga and is celebrated for 6 six days.Durga Puja festival marks the victory of Goddess Durga over the evil buffalo demon Mahishasura. Thus, Durga Puja festival epitomises the victory of Good over Evil.

This festival is widely celebrated across the eastern part of India namely West Bengal,Assam,Orissa,Bihar and Tripura.
So,I wish all the people a Very Happy Durga Puja and I wish may Goddess Durga once again defeats the Evil.

Religion-What It Is and What We Think

Religion is a vast topic to write about in a single post and the more long it goes the more readers lose their interest. So here I will try to keep it simple and to the point, though it is the subject I believe no human has understood to the perfection even though he claims to be God’s Messenger and I am no different…

Religion as defined by Wikipedia–Religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to the supernatural, and to spirituality.

It does relate us some way or the other to the Supernatural ‘The God’ and there are some people in every religion who try to act as if they are the bridge between The Humans and The Supernatural…Oh I hate such people.

But my point is–In Early Days(By Early Days I mean when Human first evolved) when people had no god to worship, what did they do?Nothing they were just busy in surviving but in Today’s world it has become like–because of Religion we are surviving….Look how the world has changed.

Any sensible human being with a fair intellectual capacity will always point religion as their part of life but not life, but generally this doesn’t happen and so the world is in Chaos and it will always be in Chaos until and unless Humanity succeed Religion and I fear if it is ever going to happen…For me I just need a peace world to live in where Religion doesn’t come between Humanity.

No Religion in this world is flawless and the sooner we Human Being realize this fact the better or else some people(love to call them as ‘God’s Messenger’ )in every religion will lead us to a Pit Hole from where there is no way out.Get to your concise before it’s too late…Religion is to love not to spread Hatred,at least that’s what i learned all these years.

For me I really don’t mind offering my prayers in a Temple,Mosque,Church or Gurudwara as for I know God is one and they stays in our heart maybe in different form….and the same goes for a sensible human being.

And At Last answer my one question—Religion created Human Being or Human being created Religion?

Weekend-The Best In a Week

weekendIf someone ever ask me about the best time in a Week the answer will be a straightforward one I mean ‘The weekend.’

Everyone says that Change is the only thing Constant, this is true in most of the cases but when it comes to weekend time the saying doesn’t holds good,I mean when we were young we would eagerly wait for the weekend to arrive, attending schools from Monday to Friday and then when It was Saturday waiting for the school to get over as soon as possible as,Saturday being a Half-day in School and then comes the most awaited day in the week,The Sunday,I guess all of us had very good plans to spend the day,for me it was like getting up at around 8’o clock in the morning  and no studies for that day exceptional being exams, have my breakfast and off I go with my bat to the ground to play Cricket with all my friends,we spend around 3-4 hours playing Cricket and when it was a rainy day we stick to Football.During Evening time all my friend again gather together and we just roam here and there with all talks of planning the next weekend to do anything special 🙂 but that special would never happen.. :-P.

Time waits for none and slowly we grow up and attend colleges for our higher studies meeting new people but the one thing that doesn’t change is the best time of the week,’The Weekend’,I agree that the weekdays in colleges are also filled with lots of fun but we can’t deny the importance of Weekends,in my case it was like waiting for the weekend to go out with my friends, having good times and most importantly spending the times with the one you love, having romantic chat walking down the streets hand in hand,ah the weekend feeling was great 😎 .

Time flies by and in the blink of an eye we step into the next phase of our life, the phase I am right now, getting out of colleges and working like a donkey 😛 from Monday to Friday and waiting 1 month for the salary to fulfill our needs but amidst of all these the one thing that doesn’t lose importance is still the same ‘The Weekend’ but in this case weekend is basically used for sleeping and taking rest atleast in my case, though we keep on making planning on how we will spend the weekend but at last it all comes down to only one thing i.e. we get only 2 days to sleep and take rest and how can we let go these two days… 😛 .

That’s all for the best time in a Week,’The Weekend’,I have explained the importance of Weekends for three 3 phase of life as I have experienced these 3 phase of Life.Hope everyone likes my description.. 🙂 .

Youth and Its Power for India

Youth of India

“Youth itself is a talent — a perishable talent.” is truly said by Eric Hoffer.

India, now aged at 65 is in my view one of the largest reservoir of Youth population.Generally defined in the age group of 16-30 years constitute of more than  40% of India’s population which is indeed a large force. We are energetic, enthusiastic and always full of zeal to do the impossible.

If we exclude the youth, the rest of the population of India will comprises of old people and children. They cannot be called the real manpower of the nation. So it is evident that if the youth of the country are not enthused to devote their energies to the task of national reconstruction, the whole Youth Power for India is wasted,or the other way why we youth should wait for someone to enthuse us to show the Youth Power of India. This is our land, our country and it totally depends on us(Indian Youths) how we take our country forward.

But having such a massive youth population in India will not do any good if our youth population is not shown the right path. Most of the youth in India are generally without any direction,If we can harness this powerhouse of the nation in the right direction then the country can reach untold heights.Being said that we should not completely depend on our Government to harness this powerhouse, contribution of all sides is required for this.

The best and the first and foremost way to strengthen our youth are to provide them Education.Education plays a vital role for this,we should be able to educate all our youth from the initial stages of their life,We should be able to make them understand the importance of Education. Not just any kind of Education, but the right kind of Education which makes them scientific, logical, open-minded, self-respecting, responsible, honest and patriotic. Without these virtues being developed, our youth cannot walk in the desired way and they will stay in a deep slumber of complacency.

Even education to some extent will not help as we see many educated young population working overseas,The question is why can’t they do it here, the answer lies in lack of opportunities which is in plenty in other countires. Why our country is unable to offer such opportunities to us?Its beacuse the Government have not taken any initiative or we the youth have not taken any steps to make government realise the power of youth.Have we forgotten that today India is Independent because of the youth power in our freedom struggle,we owe Independent India to the youth power of our past and to make it better for our future generation we must rise once again together.

Youth of India must be able to come up with new ideas of Entrepreneurship which is very vital for the country’s growth. For a youth educated in India he/she must think about the development in India which now have utmost important for our country’s development.

Let us focus on constructively using the power of the youth for the betterment of the nation. Let us frame such policies which aim at empowering our youth so that we can be assured of a better future and a brighter tomorrow.
