Advice to Our Prime Minister from A Commonman

On 15th August 2013 India celebrated its 67th Independence Day and as usual it  was the PM of India who delivered the speech at the Red Fort…I listened to his speech for about 10 minutes and after that I felt like there is no good listening to his speech as his speech is all made of some fake promises, some fake verses and all…

A common man would feel like breaking his TV sets listening to his speech, though his speech was full of hope but his speech lacked the positivity that one would expect from a PM…So to show my frustration on his speech I made a cartoon which I proudly dedicate to our incompetent PM and Government…

You can check the highlights of his speech here-Indian Express,if you are really interested to know what he said..Addressing the Nation from a Bullet Proof Box is very easy for our leaders but I wonder if they can say such nice things in their speech why can’t they do the same in reality…

Sorry Indians
Sorry Indians

Dear Indians–It is of no use looking at our leaders for betterment of India instead become aware, know your rights, duties and responsibilities towards India and help it grow with glow…And to our PM please open your mouth without anyone’s support…

Jai Hind..

  1. This is the perfect site for everyone who wants to find
out about this topic. You know a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa).
You definitely put a fresh spin on a subject which has been discussed for ages.

    Wonderful stuff, just wonderful!

  4. Definitely consider that which you said. Your favourite justification appeared to be at the internet the simplest thing to take into accout of.
I say to you, I certainly get irked whilst other folks consider issues that
they plainly do not understand about. You managed to hit the nail upon the highest and defined out the entire thing with no need side effect , people can take a signal.
Will likely be again to get more. Thank you

  5. Your cartoon was well deserved by MMS. I hope Rahul doesn’t become the PM. There are so many intelligent, educated and deserving candidates but the seasoned politicians don’t let them come up. NaMo and the BJP are hardcore Hindus but I think the best thing about India has been our tolerance – no, much more than that, ENJOYMENT – of other races, their culture, foods, traditions… It is hard to erase that from our DNA.

    1. Indeed you are right enjoyment of being in a secular country like India has altogether a different feeling and no Indians can deny it..Even I do hope Rahul doesn’t become the PM,a guy who can’t give sensible comments is for sure is not a PM material..And as for 2014 is concerned I guess it will be NaMo.. 🙂

  6. We lived in Ahmedabad so I am pretty familiar with Mr. Modi and what he has done there. We met many educated young people who want desperately to become middle class and better themselves. They are for Modi. Mr. Modi is a dynamite speaker and very inspiriting. I know that is not always good as Mr. Obama was /is quite an orator. and there are lots of people who are disappointed in his leadership. I know about the 2002 riots in Ahmedabad and that Mr. Modi has not been charged with any crime. i think he is a strong and honest leader and would cut down on corruption. My husband says I should be his campaign director in the US. Dr. Singh is very uninspiring and detached. I am not impressed with Mr. Ghandi, either. He seems detached and just expecting to be PM because of his family. I am wondering what you think ? If you don’t mind me asking? Namaste. . . . .Anne

    1. The point you mentioned about Modi is absolutely correct,He holds the required Personality to be India’s next PM and as far as Manmohan Singh is concerned he never was/is the right person to lead a country like India.A country like India need a aggressive and bold leader and for the time being Modi fits the bill perfectly and most of the Indians will agree to that,as Indians are becoming more conscious,we are now really looking forward for a whole development for India and Modi have the skills to make India developed.

And coming to Rahul Gandhi being a young politician a lot more was accepted from him but he is just another politician who looks after own personal development rather than the Country’s development. His recent remarks every now and then shows the nerve he holds,he is surely not the one that Indians need as leader, just because his family or Congress wants him to be PM,he is after it and nothing more than that.

But again coming back to Modi, the one thing I don’t like about him is that he is not so secular and I believe secularism is a very important character to lead a country like India But then again looking at the current scenario Modi is a prefect choice for the next PM reason being There is not much to compete him,Maybe he is Perfect and Aggressive leader,Maybe he holds the key to India’s development,Maybe India is looking upto him for a change…All is All most of the Indians would like to see him as next PM.

      1. I am amazed how current Indian people are on the politics of their country. I agree about Modi needing to be secular in his governing. We visited Boroda and saw the huge Shiva stature (I think it was Shiva) in the middle of the lake which is a place that Muslim people really enjoyed. And I heard of an interview he gave to a reporter where when asked about his feeling for Muslim people that if his car ran over a puppy, he would feel sorrow. Oh no..not a good analogy…Muslim people and puppies. His speeches are powerful and amazing. I think that the one thing that is very positive is that there haven’t been riots in Gujarat since 2002. That is in his favor. He has to moderate his words on the subject. I don’t think anyone has to give up their faith to be a secular leader ..but just remember and be just for all the people. I think and hope he can do that and will get the choice. He does have vision and is a powerful leader! And of course he is arrogant….but I think he is smart enough to keep that in control! 8. it’s hard to believe the India is truly struggling to get her independence from the careless and hopeless politicians , this is one another example .
let’s us consider japan for instance , Japan’s Hiroshima got damaged totally by America’s Nuclear Bomb. that was in 1945 , when we were fighting for independence .
In 1947 we got independence and by that time Japan was build keen on Building their nation from Zero where we were half of our way to our development.
By 1970’s Japan is one of the developed nations of the world , which is just 25years from their zero point , but shame is we are still considered as a developing nation.

Japan has less population than India and its a small island which can be compared to a single state of India in the name of Area, but their true Belief and their Patriotism took them to another heights in no time.

and again china which has a population more than India , is now ruling global markets . the infrastructure of the developed city in china can never be compared to any single city in India ,
instead the political congoons consider money making in the name of development.

      2. So very true..I agree being together and united means we must be able to move together in the same direction and that direction should always lead to betterment of this country..

And I guess with the youth becoming more and more aware about the current issues and the problem India is facing I am sure we will always be in one voice..

But being responsible is the only thing I can do and I believe if I am responsible will surely be able to do something good no matter how small it is.. 🙂
