When the British People came to Shillong and Saw this Fall they named it as “Elephant Falls” because on the left side of the fall there was a rock that resembled like the Elephant but the rock was destroyed by the earthquake in 1897.
India celebrated its 69th Independence Day yesterday..Me and 3 of my friends also took part in the flag hoisting ceremony in Guwahati which was undertaken by the Chief Minister of Assam..
After the flag hoisting ceremony was over,it was a long day for us..So we decided to head on to “Scotland of the East”-Shillong.
